What It Does:

The large mixing valve controls the amount of abrasive media introduced into the compressed air stream at the bottom of the blast pot.

Because abrasive continuously passes through the valve during operation, the internal components are subjected to considerable wear. Over time, this can result in inconsistent abrasive delivery, poor adjustment, leakage, or difficulty controlling the air-to-abrasive mixture.
