What It Does:

The large mixing valve regulates the amount of abrasive media introduced into the compressed air stream at the bottom of the blast pot.

Abrasive continuously passes through the valve during operation, subjecting the internal components to considerable wear. As these parts wear, the valve can become increasingly difficult to adjust and may provide inconsistent abrasive delivery.
