What the Door Gasket Does

The cabinet door must seal against the enclosure while abrasive blasting is taking place. The F111-025 closed-cell gasket compresses between the door and cabinet, helping close gaps around the door opening.

Over time, repeated door operation and exposure to abrasive dust can cause gasket material to flatten, harden, tear, or otherwise deteriorate.
