What the 944-043 Valve Seat Does

The bleed valve allows the operator to relieve fluid pressure and return material through the bypass/return system.

Inside the valve, the ball closes against the 944-043 carbide seat. When the valve is placed in the spray position, these components must seal properly so the system can build and maintain operating pressure.

Common Signs of a Worn Bleed Valve Seat:

• Material continues flowing through the return line in spray mode
