Replaces Titan SpeeFlo 850-050 Air Motor Service Kit – Admiral & Commander 40

Service the air motor on your Titan / SpeeFlo air-powered airless sprayer with this aftermarket minor air motor service kit that replaces Titan SpeeFlo Part #850-050.

The 850-050 kit contains the common sealing and wear components used during routine service of the 850-Series air motor. Titan's service literature specifically identifies 850-050 as the Minor Motor Service Kit and lists the individual air-motor components included in the kit.

  • Economical alternative to replacing the complete air motor
  • Helps keep older Titan and SpeeFlo equipment in service

Common Reasons for Air Motor Service:

  • Air leaking from the motor
  • Motor cycles irregularly
  • Motor hesitates during stroke reversal
  • Reduced operating efficiency
  • Excessive air consumption
  • Internal seals or O-rings are worn
  • Air motor has accumulated substantial operating hours
  • Routine preventive maintenance
  • Motor has been disassembled for inspection or repair

Inspect the Air Motor While It's Apart

When servicing one of these older pneumatic motors, inspect the internal hard parts rather than automatically assuming that seals will correct every problem.

Pay particular attention to the:

  • Air valve components
  • Piston and piston rod
  • Valve rod assembly
  • Bushings
  • Cylinder
  • Trip mechanism
  • O-ring sealing surfaces
  • Air lines and fittings

Scoring, corrosion, damaged sealing surfaces, or excessive mechanical wear can cause problems that a new seal kit alone cannot correct.

Maintenance on the 850-Series Air Motor

Titan's original service literature calls for normal maintenance inspection of the 850-Series air motor at approximately 1,500 service hours on non-circulating models and 800 hours on circulating models, and specifically references the 850-050 minor service kit for that maintenance.

Clean, dry compressed air is also important to air-motor life. Moisture and contamination in the air supply can contribute to internal corrosion, icing, seal deterioration and operating problems.

Keeping Older Titan & SpeeFlo Equipment Working

The Admiral, Commander and other older SpeeFlo pneumatic pumps were built as serviceable professional equipment. A problem with the air motor doesn't necessarily mean the complete pump needs to be replaced.

These machines can remain productive when the air motor and fluid section are properly maintained and the correct repair components are still available.

That's why we include the original Titan / SpeeFlo part number and compatible equipment whenever possible—making it easier to identify repair parts for equipment that may have been in service for decades.

Important:

This listing is for one aftermarket Minor Air Motor Service Kit that replaces Titan / SpeeFlo Part #850-050.

This is an aftermarket repair kit and is not manufactured by Titan or SpeeFlo.

Always verify the 850-050 part number and air motor installed on your equipment before ordering, particularly on older machines that may have been repaired or modified during their service life.

Disconnect the compressed-air supply and completely relieve both air and fluid pressure before servicing the air motor or fluid pump.
