Replaces Titan 315-050 L/T Fluid Section Packing Kit – Hydra M2000 & M4000
Rebuild the fluid section on your Titan Hydra airless sprayer with this aftermarket L/T packing kit that replaces Titan Part #315-050.
The 315-050 packing kit services the primary sealing and wear components inside the displacement pump. As fluid-section packings wear, they can allow coating to bypass the piston and contribute to fluid leakage, pressure loss, reduced output, and excessive pump cycling.

What the Packing Kit Does
The packings inside the fluid section create a high-pressure seal around the moving piston or displacement rod while still allowing the rod to reciprocate through the pump.
These components are exposed to continuous friction, coating material, and high operating pressure. Eventually, normal wear reduces their ability to maintain an effective seal.
Once the packings become worn, material can begin bypassing them rather than being efficiently moved through the pump.
Common Signs Your Fluid Section May Need New Packings:
- Fluid leaking around the piston rod or packing area
- Pump will not maintain pressure
- Excessive pump cycling
- Reduced material output
- Inconsistent spray pressure
- Packing leakage continues after normal adjustment
- Visible packing wear or damage
- Fluid section is being rebuilt due to age or operating hours
Inspect the Hard Parts Before Installing New Packings
New packings won't last long if they're installed around worn or damaged hard parts.
While rebuilding the Hydra M2000 or M4000 fluid section, inspect the:
- Piston / displacement rod
- Cylinder
- Upper and lower packing areas
- Packing glands and retainers
- Inlet valve
- Piston outlet valve
- Valve balls and seats
- O-rings and sealing surfaces
Pay particular attention to the working surface of the piston rod. Run your fingernail across the area where the packings travel. If you can feel scoring, grooves, pitting, or other surface damage, the rod should be addressed before installing new packings.
Otherwise, those new packings will travel across the damaged surface on every pump stroke and can fail prematurely.
Don't Automatically Blame the Packings
Poor pressure or priming doesn't always mean the packings are worn.
The inlet and piston check valves are also critical to fluid-section operation. A worn ball or seat, debris trapped in a valve, or another damaged sealing surface can cause internal bypass and produce many of the same symptoms as worn packings.
If the pump is already apart, inspecting the entire fluid section can save you from having to tear it down twice.
Keeping Older Titan Hydra Sprayers Working
The Hydra M2000 and M4000 are older professional Titan machines, but equipment of this type was designed to be serviced and rebuilt.
As these sprayers age, identifying the correct repair components becomes increasingly important. That's why we include the original Titan 315-050 part number and known machine applications whenever possible.
If your fluid-section parts breakdown specifies 315-050, this kit provides an aftermarket option for rebuilding the pump without replacing the complete fluid section.
Important:
This listing is for one aftermarket L/T fluid-section packing kit that replaces Titan Part #315-050.
The piston rod, cylinder, valve components, and other fluid-section hard parts are sold separately unless specifically stated otherwise.
This is an aftermarket repair kit and is not manufactured by Titan.
Because the Hydra M2000 and M4000 are older machines that may have been repaired or modified during their service life, always verify Titan Part #315-050 for the fluid section currently installed on your equipment before ordering.
Completely relieve fluid pressure, shut down the sprayer, and follow the manufacturer's pressure-relief procedure before servicing the fluid section.
