Refer to the exploded parts diagram below to identify the component included with this listing.

Applications:

  • PK Lindsay abrasive blasting equipment
  • Marco KwikFire abrasive blasting equipment
  • Sandblast deadman shutoff valves
  • Pneumatic remote control systems
  • Pressure blast pots
  • Commercial and industrial abrasive blasting equipment

Features:

  • PK Lindsay / Marco KwikFire 66EVST disk stem
  • Identified as #5 in the exploded parts diagram
  • Internal component of the deadman shutoff valve
  • Ideal for servicing or rebuilding an existing valve
  • Replaces a worn, damaged, or missing disk stem
  • Helps restore proper shutoff valve operation
  • Helps keep older PK Lindsay and Marco KwikFire equipment in service

What It Does:

The 66EVST Disk Stem is part of the internal shutoff mechanism of the deadman valve. It works with the rubber and steel washers and related components to open and close the valve as the deadman control is operated. The 66EVST is also included as a service component in 66EVDR repair-kit applications.

Repeated cycling and operation in an abrasive environment can eventually cause wear to the disk stem and related sealing components. Replacing worn parts can help restore dependable valve operation without replacing the complete deadman shutoff valve.

Common Signs the Deadman Valve May Need Service:

  • Air leaking from the shutoff valve
  • Valve fails to open or close properly
  • Slow or inconsistent deadman response
  • Excessive wear to internal valve components
  • Damaged or worn disk stem
  • Valve is being rebuilt as preventative maintenance

Finding Parts for Older PK Lindsay & Marco KwikFire Equipment

PK Lindsay and Marco KwikFire blasting equipment may no longer be manufactured, but many of these machines remain in service. Individual deadman valve components can be difficult to identify when working from older parts diagrams.

That's why we include the original part number and exploded diagram item number whenever possible—so you can identify exactly what you need before ordering.

Important Safety Information:

The deadman control system is a critical safety component of an abrasive blasting machine. Completely depressurize and disconnect the blasting system before servicing the valve. After repair, verify proper deadman operation and shutdown before returning the equipment to service.
