  • Marco KwikFire abrasive blasting equipment
  • Sandblast deadman shutoff valves
  • Pneumatic remote control systems
  • Pressure blast pots
  • Commercial and industrial abrasive blasting equipment

Features:

  • PK Lindsay / Marco KwikFire 66EVG cover gasket
  • Identified as #17 in the exploded parts diagram
  • Sealing component for the deadman shutoff valve cover
  • Ideal for servicing or rebuilding an existing valve
  • Helps maintain a proper seal between the cover and valve body
  • Replaces a worn, damaged, or deteriorated gasket
  • Helps keep older PK Lindsay and Marco KwikFire equipment in service

What It Does:

The 66EVG Cover Gasket provides the seal between the deadman shutoff valve cover and valve body. A proper seal helps prevent air leakage and allows the valve to operate as intended.

Over time, repeated compression, age, heat, and normal service can cause the gasket to harden, flatten, crack, or tear. The gasket can also be damaged when the valve is disassembled for repair.

For that reason, it's a good idea to inspect the cover gasket whenever the deadman shutoff valve is opened for service.

Common Signs the Cover Gasket May Need Replacement:

  • Air leakage around the valve cover
  • Visible cracks, tears, or deterioration
  • Gasket has become hard or brittle
  • Gasket is permanently compressed
  • Valve cover has been removed for servicing
  • Existing gasket will no longer seal properly
