Features:
- PK Lindsay / Marco KwikFire 100-170 deadman shutoff cover
- Identified as #10 in the exploded parts diagram
- Component of the deadman shutoff valve assembly
- Ideal for repairing or rebuilding an existing valve
- Allows serviceable internal components to be reused
- Replaces a worn, damaged, corroded, or missing cover
- Helps keep older PK Lindsay and Marco KwikFire equipment in service
What It Does:
The 100-170 Cover encloses and retains components of the PK Lindsay / Marco KwikFire deadman shutoff valve assembly. It works together with the cover gasket and internal valve components to provide a properly assembled and sealed shutoff valve.
Years of use, corrosion, physical damage, or repeated servicing can eventually damage the original cover. Replacing the cover allows an otherwise serviceable deadman valve to be repaired without replacing the complete assembly.
Common Signs the Shutoff Cover May Need Replacement:
- Cracked or physically damaged cover
- Corrosion or excessive deterioration
- Damaged mounting surfaces
- Damaged threads or mounting points
- Cover will no longer seal properly
- Original cover is lost or missing
Finding Parts for Older PK Lindsay & Marco KwikFire Equipment
PK Lindsay and Marco KwikFire blasting equipment may no longer be manufactured, but many of these machines are still in service. Finding individual deadman valve components can be difficult, particularly when you're working from an older exploded parts diagram.
That's why we include the original part number and exploded diagram item number whenever possible—so you can identify exactly what you need before ordering.
Important Safety Information:
The deadman control system is a critical safety component of an abrasive blasting machine. Completely depressurize and disconnect the blasting system before servicing the valve. After repair, verify proper deadman operation and shutdown before returning the equipment to service.
