What It Does:
The C-4X Spindle Arm is part of the adjustment mechanism of the PK Lindsay medium mixing valve. It works with the spindle and related components to control the position of the mixing valve and regulate the amount of abrasive entering the compressed air stream.
Years of repeated adjustment, corrosion, or mechanical wear can eventually cause the spindle arm to become worn, bent, or damaged. Excessive wear can create unwanted play in the adjustment mechanism and make accurate abrasive control more difficult.
Replacing a damaged spindle arm can help restore smooth and dependable adjustment without replacing the complete mixing valve.
Common Signs the Spindle Arm May Need Replacement:
- Mixing valve is difficult to adjust
- Excessive play in the adjustment mechanism
- Valve will not maintain the desired setting
- Spindle arm is bent or physically damaged
- Worn connection or pivot points
- Corrosion or excessive deterioration
Important – Complete Valve Buyers:
The C-4X Spindle Arm is NOT included with the PK Lindsay 100-198 Complete Medium Mixing Valve Assembly.
If you are installing a 100-198 valve and your existing C-4X spindle arm is worn, damaged, or missing, this part will need to be purchased separately.
