Features:

- Identified as #10 in the exploded parts diagram
- Fits Models 15, 25, 35 & 100
- Internal service component for the small mixing valve
- Works with the valve packing to help maintain proper sealing
- Ideal for repairing or rebuilding an existing mixing valve
- Helps keep older PK Lindsay blasting equipment in service
What It Does:
The C-31 Packing Gland works with the mixing valve packing to maintain proper sealing around the spindle assembly. The gland helps retain and compress the packing so the valve can operate while minimizing air and abrasive leakage around the spindle.
Years of adjustment, abrasive contamination, corrosion, and normal wear can eventually damage the gland or related packing components.
Replacing worn components can help restore proper sealing and smooth operation without replacing the complete mixing valve assembly.
Common Signs the Packing Gland May Need Service:
- Air leakage around the mixing valve spindle
- Abrasive leakage around the adjustment mechanism
- Difficulty obtaining a proper seal with new packing
- Worn or damaged packing gland
- Corrosion or physical damage
- Mixing valve is being completely rebuilt
