What It Does:

The 801-715 Type 2 Nozzle Coupling Hose End provides the connection between the abrasive blast hose and the nozzle assembly. A secure, properly assembled coupling is essential because this connection is exposed to compressed air and high-velocity abrasive media whenever the machine is operating.

The nozzle end of a blast hose also receives considerable physical abuse from dragging, repositioning, repeated nozzle changes, and normal jobsite use. Over time, the coupling can become worn or damaged and the internal washer can deteriorate.

The 801-715 provides both Diagram Item #8 and the #9 coupling washer, allowing these components to be serviced together.
