Refer to the exploded parts diagram below to identify the component included with this listing.

Applications:

  • PK Lindsay abrasive blast pots
  • Pressure sandblasting equipment
  • Large mixing valve assemblies
  • Commercial abrasive blasting systems
  • Industrial surface preparation equipment

Features:

  • PK Lindsay 7-36 large mixing valve plate
  • Identified as #7 in the exploded parts diagram
  • Fits Models 300LA & 600LA
  • Internal component of the abrasive metering mechanism
  • Works with the spindle and related mixing valve components
  • Ideal for repairing or rebuilding an existing large mixing valve
  • Helps restore proper abrasive flow and adjustment
  • Helps keep older PK Lindsay blasting equipment in service

What It Does:

The 7-36 Large Mixing Valve Plate is part of the abrasive metering mechanism inside the PK Lindsay large mixing valve. Working with the spindle and related internal components, the plate helps regulate the amount of abrasive media entering the compressed air stream.

Because abrasive media passes directly through the mixing valve during operation, the plate is subjected to continuous wear. Over time, its surfaces can become worn, grooved, or eroded, affecting the valve's ability to accurately regulate abrasive flow.

Replacing a worn valve plate can help restore smoother adjustment and more consistent abrasive delivery without replacing the complete mixing valve assembly.

Common Signs the Mixing Valve Plate May Need Replacement:

  • Abrasive flow is difficult to regulate
  • Inconsistent abrasive delivery
  • Excessive or insufficient abrasive flow
  • Plate shows visible wear or erosion
  • Grooves or uneven wear are present on the plate
  • Valve will not maintain the desired abrasive setting
  • Performing a complete large mixing valve rebuild

Also Included in the 7-36A Rebuild Kit

The 7-36 Large Mixing Valve Plate – Diagram Item #7 is also included in the PK Lindsay 7-36A Large Mixing Valve Rebuild Kit.

If the plate and several other internal components are showing wear, the complete 7-36A rebuild kit may be more economical than purchasing the components individually.
