What It Does:

The 7-01BG Body Gasket provides a seal at the large mixing valve body assembly. A good gasket helps maintain proper sealing and dependable operation of the valve while the blast machine is in service.

Like other gasket materials, years of compression, heat, age, and exposure to the harsh environment surrounding abrasive blasting equipment can cause the gasket to become brittle, compressed, torn, or otherwise deteriorated.

If the mixing valve is being removed or disassembled for service, inspecting the 7-01BG body gasket and replacing it when necessary can help prevent having to take the assembly apart again because of a leak.
