Features:
- PK Lindsay 7-01B large mixing valve body
- Identified as #2 in the exploded parts diagram
- Fits Models 300LA & 600LA
- Main body of the large mixing valve assembly
- Ideal for rebuilding a valve with a worn or damaged body
- Allows usable internal components to be retained when appropriate
- Alternative to purchasing the complete 100-199 mixing valve
- Helps keep older PK Lindsay blasting equipment in service
What It Does:
The 7-01B Large Mixing Valve Body forms the main housing of the PK Lindsay large mixing valve assembly. It supports the internal valve components that regulate the amount of abrasive media entering the compressed air stream.
The mixing valve body operates in one of the harshest areas of an abrasive blast machine. Years of abrasive flow can gradually erode internal surfaces, while moisture and storage conditions can contribute to corrosion or thread damage.
When the body itself is worn or damaged but other components remain serviceable, replacing the 7-01B valve body can allow the existing large mixing valve to be rebuilt rather than replacing the entire assembly.
Common Reasons for Replacement:
- Internal surfaces are worn or eroded
- Body is cracked or physically damaged
- Threads are damaged
- Excessive corrosion
- Valve will no longer seal or operate properly
- Existing body has excessive abrasive wear
- Rebuilding an incomplete or damaged mixing valve
Rebuilding the Large Mixing Valve
If you're rebuilding the valve rather than replacing the complete assembly, we also offer the PK Lindsay 7-36A Large Mixing Valve Rebuild Kit, which contains the primary internal wear components used in the large mixing valve.
For a valve requiring more extensive replacement, the PK Lindsay 100-199 Complete Large Mixing Valve is also available for Models 300LA & 600LA.
Finding Parts for Older PK Lindsay Equipment
PK Lindsay blast machines may no longer be manufactured, but many 300LA and 600LA machines remain in service. Individual large mixing valve components can be difficult to identify and locate when you're working from an older exploded parts diagram.
That's why we include the original PK Lindsay part number and exploded diagram item number whenever possible—so you can identify exactly what you need before ordering.
Important:
This listing is for the PK Lindsay 7-01B Large Mixing Valve Body – Diagram Item #2 only.
Internal valve components, gaskets, hardware, and other items shown in the exploded parts diagram are sold separately unless specifically stated otherwise.
