Exploded Diagram Item #15

Refer to the exploded parts diagram below to identify the component included with this listing.

Applications:

  • PK Lindsay abrasive blasting equipment
  • Sandblast nozzle and tip assemblies
  • Nozzle coupling assemblies
  • Abrasive blast hose connections
  • Pressure sandblasting equipment
  • Commercial and industrial surface preparation equipment

Features:

  • PK Lindsay 66B nozzle coupling base
  • Identified as #15 in the exploded parts diagram
  • Component of the sandblast tip/nozzle coupling assembly
  • Provides a mounting point for related nozzle components
  • Ideal for repairing or rebuilding an existing nozzle assembly
  • Replaces a worn, damaged, corroded, or missing coupling base
  • Individual service component for older PK Lindsay equipment
  • Helps keep older PK Lindsay blasting equipment in service

What It Does:

The 66B Nozzle Coupling Base forms part of the connection assembly at the sandblast tip. It works with the related coupling, liner, seals, and nozzle components to provide a secure connection at the discharge end of the blasting system.

This area of a sandblaster is exposed to vibration, abrasive dust, high-velocity media, and considerable physical handling. Over years of use, the coupling base can become worn, damaged, or corroded.

Replacing a damaged base can allow the existing nozzle assembly to be repaired without replacing other serviceable components.

Common Reasons for Replacement:

  • Coupling base is worn or damaged
  • Threads or mounting surfaces are damaged
  • Excessive corrosion or deterioration
  • Base is cracked or distorted
  • Nozzle assembly no longer connects securely
  • Existing base is missing
  • Rebuilding an older PK Lindsay nozzle assembly

  • 800-236 Hose Coupling Rubber Liner – Diagram #14
  • 801-703 Type 2 Nozzle Coupling Washer – Diagram #9
  • 801-715 Type 2 Nozzle Coupling Hose End – Diagram #8 & #9

These components are available separately when only a portion of the nozzle or hose coupling assembly needs service.

Finding Parts for Older PK Lindsay Equipment

PK Lindsay abrasive blasting equipment may no longer be manufactured, but many of these machines remain in service. Nozzle couplings, hose ends, liners, seals, O-rings, and related hardware can be particularly difficult to identify when working from an older exploded parts diagram.

That's why we include the original PK Lindsay part number and exploded diagram item number whenever possible—so you can identify exactly what you need before ordering.

Important:

This listing is for the PK Lindsay 66B Nozzle Coupling Base – Diagram Item #15 only.

The nozzle, coupling, blast hose, seals, and other components shown in the exploded parts diagram are sold separately unless specifically stated otherwise.

Always completely depressurize the blast machine before servicing the blast hose, nozzle, coupling, or any other component of the blasting system. Never operate abrasive blasting equipment with a damaged or insecure hose or nozzle connection.
