What It Does
The 3-66HE hose coupling end provides the connection between the 3/4" ID blast hose and the nozzle-side components of the blasting system.
Because abrasive media passes directly through this assembly at high velocity, the coupling's internal rubber liner is an important wear component. The liner helps protect the metal coupling body from direct exposure to the abrasive stream.
The included O-ring helps provide the proper seal within the coupling assembly.
Common Reasons for Replacement:
- Worn or damaged coupling
- Worn internal rubber liner
- Damaged or deteriorated O-ring
- Abrasive leakage around the connection
- Damage to an existing hose-end assembly
- Rebuilding a 3/4" PK Lindsay blast hose
- Restoring older PK Lindsay blasting equipment
Related PK Lindsay Components
The 3-66HE is designed for 3/4" ID blast hose. PK Lindsay also used different hose-end components for other hose sizes:
- 1-74 – 1/2" ID Hose End
- 3-66HE – 3/4" ID Hose Coupling End
- 4-66HE – 1" ID Hose Coupling End
Using the correct coupling for the hose diameter is especially important on a pressurized abrasive blasting system.
Finding Parts for Older PK Lindsay Equipment
PK Lindsay abrasive blasting equipment may no longer be manufactured, but many of these machines remain in service. Blast hose couplings, nozzle components, liners, seals, O-rings, mixing valve parts, and deadman components can be particularly difficult to identify when working from an older exploded parts diagram.
That's why we include the original PK Lindsay part number and exploded diagram item number whenever possible—so you can identify exactly what you need before ordering.
Important:
This listing is for one PK Lindsay 3-66HE 3/4" ID Sandblast Hose Coupling End – Diagram Item #13, including the O-ring and rubber liner.
Other components shown in the exploded parts diagram are sold separately unless specifically stated otherwise.
Always completely depressurize the blast machine before servicing the blast hose, nozzle, coupling, or any other component of the blasting system. Never operate abrasive blasting equipment with a damaged, worn, or insecure hose or nozzle connection.
