What It Does:
The 1-74 Nozzle Coupling Hose End provides the connection between the 1/2" ID abrasive blast hose and the sandblast nozzle assembly.
The nozzle end of a blast hose operates in a demanding environment. High-velocity abrasive media passes through the connection while the coupling is also subjected to vibration, dragging, repeated nozzle changes, and normal jobsite handling.
Over time, the coupling can become worn, damaged, or deteriorated. A damaged hose-end connection should be replaced before it affects the security or proper operation of the nozzle assembly.
Common Reasons for Replacement:
- Coupling is worn or damaged
- Excessive abrasive wear
- Connection or mounting surfaces are damaged
- Coupling is cracked or distorted
- Excessive corrosion or deterioration
- Nozzle assembly will no longer connect securely
- Existing coupling is missing
- Rebuilding an older PK Lindsay blast hose assembly
Verify Your Blast Hose Size
This PK Lindsay 1-74 coupling is specifically for 1/2" ID sandblaster hose.
Because PK Lindsay equipment was produced in several configurations and different hose and nozzle components were used, verify your hose inside diameter and Diagram Item #16 before ordering.
Finding Parts for Older PK Lindsay Equipment
PK Lindsay abrasive blasting equipment may no longer be manufactured, but many of these machines remain in service. Blast hose couplings, nozzle components, liners, seals, and related hardware can be particularly difficult to identify when working from an older exploded parts diagram.
That's why we include the original PK Lindsay part number, hose size, and exploded diagram item number whenever possible—so you can identify exactly what you need before ordering.
Important:
This listing is for the PK Lindsay 1-74 Nozzle Coupling Hose End for 1/2" ID Sandblaster Hose – Diagram Item #16 only.
The blast hose, nozzle, seals, and other components shown in the exploded parts diagram are sold separately unless specifically stated otherwise.
Always completely depressurize the blast machine before servicing the blast hose, nozzle, coupling, or any other component of the blasting system. Never operate abrasive blasting equipment with a damaged or insecure hose or nozzle connection.
