Replaces Clemco 01352 Tungsten Carbide Sandblast Nozzle – 3/16" Bore, 3/4" NPSM
This tungsten carbide straight-bore sandblast nozzle replaces Clemco Part #01352 and is designed primarily for close-up abrasive blast cleaning of small parts and concentrated areas.
The nozzle features a 3/16" straight bore, 3/4" NPSM fine thread, and a compact 1-5/8" overall length. Its tungsten carbide liner provides substantially greater wear resistance than ceramic nozzles, making it a good choice for regular blasting applications where longer nozzle life is important.

What a Straight-Bore Nozzle Does
Unlike a longer venturi-style nozzle designed to accelerate abrasive over a greater distance and produce a larger blast pattern, a short straight-bore nozzle produces a relatively concentrated blast stream.
That makes this style particularly useful when working close to the surface or cleaning small parts, confined areas, edges, welds, brackets, machinery components, and other areas where a broad blast pattern isn't necessary.
Its compact size can also make it easier to maneuver when working around smaller components.
Why Tungsten Carbide?
Abrasive traveling through a blast nozzle at high velocity gradually wears away the nozzle bore. As the bore enlarges, air consumption increases and blast efficiency can decrease.
Tungsten carbide provides excellent wear resistance and is commonly used for professional abrasive blasting nozzles where longer service life is desired.
Actual nozzle life will vary considerably depending on the abrasive being used, operating pressure, moisture, blasting conditions, and handling.
Why Nozzle Bore Size Matters
The 3/16" bore size directly affects the amount of compressed air required to operate the nozzle.
As nozzle bore diameter increases, the compressor must supply considerably more air to maintain the desired blasting pressure. Before installing any blast nozzle, make sure your compressor has adequate CFM capacity for the nozzle size and operating pressure.
Also remember that nozzle bores gradually enlarge with use. A worn 3/16" nozzle can consume noticeably more air than it did when new.
Checking Nozzle Wear
Periodically inspect and measure the nozzle bore. Consider replacing the nozzle when you notice:
- Bore diameter has increased significantly
- Uneven or irregular bore wear
- Reduced blasting efficiency
- Increased compressor demand
- Irregular blast pattern
- Cracked or damaged outer jacket
- Damage to the threaded connection
A nozzle can still appear usable from the outside while the internal bore has worn substantially.
Applications:
Suitable for:
- Abrasive blast cleaning
- Sandblasting equipment
- Small-part blasting
- Localized surface preparation
- Rust and scale removal
- Paint and coating removal
- Machinery and component cleaning
- Commercial and industrial blast equipment
Important:
This listing is for one aftermarket tungsten carbide sandblast nozzle that replaces Clemco Part #01352.
Specifications: 3/16" straight bore × 3/4" NPSM fine thread × 1-5/8" overall length.
This is an aftermarket component and is not manufactured by Clemco or the other manufacturers referenced above. Cross-reference numbers are provided to assist with part identification. Always verify the bore size, thread size, nozzle dimensions, and original part number before ordering.
Always completely depressurize the blasting system before removing, installing, or servicing a blast nozzle. Inspect the nozzle holder, threads, washers, hose, and safety restraints before returning the equipment to service.
